HIsTORY

- said Vincenzo Donatiello who, in 1922, opened a Coffe&food Shop together with his wife Anna in the ancient and fascinating area of Triggio in Benevento: “La Bottega Nuova”. The novelty of the shop was the wooden shelves displaying exotic green coffee and few precious roasted coffee blends produced with the utmost care by Vincenzo. His son Giuseppe, grew in the shop and lately decided to work in this fabulous sector specializing in the “Coffee Roasting”. In the 1960’s Giuseppe founded the Incas Caffè Company producing Premium Quality Coffee Blend in the best Italian tradition. His son Vincenzo and daughters Simona and Annalisa are still do this today with love and passion.


The Company specialized in the production of premium Quality Italian Espresso coffee Blends for the Ho.Re.Ca sector first and later in the production of premium quality coffee for home and office with ground coffee and coffee pods.

PRODUCTION

This process, lengthier, more complex and expensive than the ones used in other companies, is essential to guarantee a Premium quality Product


SELECTION

Incas directly selects the best Arabica and Robusta Quality in the world.

The green coffee comes directly from the main producing Countries in Juta bags of 60 Kg each and is accepted only after analyzing sensory and chemichal datas. Only after passing that control it is processed.


SPECIFIC NEEDS

To respect the specific needs of every different type of beans, Incas roasts them separately according to “Origin”. This delicate job requires the greatest care and guarantees the best expression of every single bean.


ROASTING

Roasting is the most delicate moment in production,  and occurs through a machine called “Roaster”, a drum oven that rotates to ensure the beans are roasted evenly and heating the green coffee from 18 to 22 minutes at temperatures from 200° C to 230° C.


STORING

Once rosted separately, coffee beans are stored in big tanks dedicated to each different quality for a few days, then blended and placed into industrial Tanks dedicated to the blends.
